Reet is a teacher in Estonian National Academy of Arts, founder and creative head of personal brand Aus Design Llc, an initiator of Trash to Trend platform and has issued the Upmade valued-recycling certificate.

Reet has used design as a solution for environmental issues in the textile industry, both at the level of small and large scale. She visits factories with huge amounts of quality leftover fabric and investigates how to intelligently re-use, instead of dumping it. “We are not used to look upon the world from a different viewpoint from what we have been taught. To discover something new, one has to step into the unknown. The unknown is just another opportunity”.
